Paul Pieper is an award winning guitarist with over 20 years of experience as a full time jazz musician and teacher in the Washington DC area. From local performances at Blues Alley, The Smithsonian Imax Jazz Cafe, and other venues, to gigs abroad in Japan, Russia, Ecuador, Turkey, and even Kyrgyzstan, Paul's performance credentials are extensive.
Paul is also the instructor in The Jazz Workshop, a program for jazz instrumentalists.
Chris Grasso is a Washington, D.C.-based jazz pianist who specializes in working with vocalists. Chris has performed live with jazz greats Keter Betts and Buck Hill, and has also appeared with Ken Peplowski and the Chuck Redd Quartet.
Chris appeared with vocalist Sharón Clark on the National Mall as part of the 2007 Duke Ellington Jazz Festival. He appears regularly at all the major venues in the DC area. Chris also serves as Music Director for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington DC.
